Along with 4-H Clubs, Afterschool and School Enrichment are two delivery modes for 4-H Youth Development. Colorado 4-H offers programming and educational materials that can be used in K-12 school enrichment and after school settings.
Afterschool
Colorado 4-H Afterschool includes educational programs offered to youth outside of school hours, usually in a school or other community center and incorporating 4-H curricula. 4-H afterschool is designed to combine the resources of 4-H with community-based organizations that provide afterschool programs which address community needs.
School Enrichment
Colorado 4-H School Enrichment Programs are groups of youth or children receiving a sequence of learning experiences in cooperation with school officials during school hours to support the school curriculum. 4-H School Enrichment involves direct teaching by 4-H staff, trained volunteers or teachers.
