The Colorado State University Extension (CSUE) 4-H STEM K-12 Office is charged with providing county 4-H agents with ongoing support in Positive Youth Development (PYD) educational programing for afterschool programs, in-school enrichment, community programs and 4-H clubs. This support is provided through the procurement of new funding sources such as grants and sponsorships, the development and implementation of new educational opportunities, the expansion of 4-H STEM Resources available to agents, professional development and by providing leadership to the STEM/K-12 Work Team.
The STEM/K-12 Work Team identifies, creates, and provides hands-on experiential learning resources to Extension staff, school teachers and staff and community members in support of STEM PYD programing in county 4-H programs as well as to supplement school curricula and enhance afterschool programs.
