Collegiate 4-H

Colorado State University Collegiate 4-H Club

The CSU Collegiate 4-H Club provides opportunities for students to build leadership skills, engage in meaningful service, and support youth development across Colorado. Open to students from all majors, the club connects members with hands-on experiences that strengthen communities while advancing the mission of 4-H.

Why join?

Collegiate 4-H provides students with practical leadership experiences, opportunities to serve Colorado communities, and connections to Extension professionals statewide. Members join a welcoming and service-oriented network dedicated to supporting youth and strengthening the future of 4-H.

Our key pillars

  • Leadership Development
    • Members grow as leaders by coordinating 4-H projects and events, mentoring youth, assisting with workshops, and working alongside Extension professionals. These hands-on experiences build communication, teamwork, and organizational skills that prepare students for future careers and community roles.
  • Community Service
    • Service is central to the Collegiate 4-H experience. On campus and in local communities, members participate in service projects, provide support at 4-H events, and promote positive youth development. Activities reflect each of the 4 H’s (Head, Heart, Hands, and Health) while promoting livelong learning and service beyond the college experience.
  • Advancement of 4-H Across Colorado
    • Collegiate 4-H plays an active role in supporting and strengthening the 4-H program statewide. Members assist with educational workshops, judging competitions, and outreach efforts, helping to expand the reach of 4-H and engage new audiences throughout Colorado.
